Home » Cause Marketing: How Premium Service Brands Turns Giving Into Growth
A home services franchisor is showing that cause marketing can double as a local marketing engine, and its back-to-school push is the latest proof.
On Tuesday, Premium Service Brands said franchise owners across its family of home service brands were stepping into their communities through Kids-Lift, the charitable foundation the company created, to help schools and students start the year.
Through Kids-Lift, owners are running back-to-school projects that range from classroom improvements and school beautification to backpack drives and food donations. National vendors joined in, with Sherwin-Williams donating paint for school makeovers and The Print Authority supplying volunteer T-shirts and signage.
The work spans multiple brands at once. In Little Rock, a 360° Painting owner repainted school spaces, while a 360° Painting couple in Kansas City handled a similar refresh. In North Georgia, a House Doctors franchisee supported a Back-to-School Bash by providing more than 900 earbuds for computer labs.
“Back-to-school season is about far more than school supplies,” Vivi Nellen, Kids-Lift executive director, said in the company’s PR Newswire announcement.
For home service franchises, trust and local familiarity drive leads, so visible community work is not just goodwill. It puts the brand name on lawns, in schools and across neighborhood social feeds where buying decisions actually happen. A painting or junk removal operator who shows up for the local school earns word of mouth that no paid ad can replicate. As Franchise Times has reported, the nonprofit work also doubles as a grassroots channel for building local visibility.
Running it through a shared foundation adds scale. One initiative gives every franchisee the same story to tell, lets multiple brands co-brand a single project and creates national partner tie-ins that a lone operator could never land.
“Kids-Lift gives them another meaningful way to make a lasting impact,” Paul Flick, Premium Service Brands founder and chief executive, said in the same PR Newswire announcement.
The lesson for multi-unit systems is that community programs deserve a marketing plan, not just a budget line. Give franchisees a repeatable project, a co-branded kit and a few national partners, then help them capture and share the results locally. Handled well, a school painting day becomes content, proof of local commitment and a lead source in one afternoon. This kind of community-first thinking is showing up across 2026 franchise marketing trends, where local relevance and brand trust increasingly decide which operators win.
Premium Service Brands runs more than 1,200 locations across brands including 360° Painting, House Doctors, Maid Right and ProLift Garage Doors.
